The grocery store company, which filed for bankruptcy in July, has found buyers for all but eight of its properties in Bergen and Passaic counties. Another round of bidding is planned for Thursday.

Last week, 108 properties went up for auction, with buyers for 36 properties, according to the website. Stores that are not purchased will likely return to their landlords.

Last week, the Food Basics stores on Van Houten Avenue in Passaic and 30th Street in Paterson were purchased by Fransula Foods, which operates Compare Foods supermarkets, the report stated.

The Food Basics on Getty Avenue in Paterson is under contract to Key Food, pending court approval.
